The origin of the Cosmos [1]

Undefined
Scope:
Cosmos [2]

(13.800 Million years ago. On our 100 year time-scale it should be year -176. Can't be used so +20)

According to modern scientific evidence, the most probable theory is that the Cosmos, the whole Universe with everything in it: energy, space, matter and even time started with a (the) Big Bang. This video illustrates that Big Bang, the formation of the first particles and elements, up to the whole of the Universe with all the stars, galaxies and planets.

From nano-metres to billions of light years.

An infinite zooming out and then zooming in of all that exists.

The spectecular elegance of the Universe

This video follows "The Majestic Beauty of the Cosmos [4]"

One video alone could simply not do justice to the unbelievable beauty of the universe, as the Hubble Space Telescope unveils to us. Some of the latest images released by NASA and its partners were incorporated into this video, along with some of the most incredible material taken since 1990.

The Hubble telescope is planned to continue functioning at least until 2014, so the future should bring more unbelievable sights of faraway places. And scientific data, obviously!

This movie, just like the first one, is dedicated to the great Carl Sagan [5].

The music is "Isle of the Wandering Spirits" from the album "Distant Dreams" by The Amnis Initiative. See the link above.
